We understand the importance of the early years and its place in setting the foundations for learning. We are guided by the EYFS framework, which incorporates seven broad areas of learning. These include Personal, Social and Emotional Development which helps children build confidence, friendships, and emotional awareness. Communication and language to encourage speaking, listening, and a love of stories and conversation. Physical development to support movement, coordination, and healthy habits through active play. Through literacy, we introduce early reading and writing through phonics, books, and mark-making. In mathematics, we explore numbers, patterns, shapes, and problem-solving in everyday activities. To aid our understanding of the world, we nurture curiosity about people, places, and the environment around us and in expressive arts and design, we inspire creativity through art, music, role play, and imaginative expression.
Our Aim
Our goal is to ensure that every child reaches their full potential. Knowing each child’s interests and needs differ, our curriculum is designed to allow children to learn by exploring their interests and the world around them through a diverse range of activities that focus on real experiences and the process they go through. We also shine a light on healthy lifestyles, to include healthy eating and overall well-being. Learning takes place in our well-resourced nursery, both inside and out, all supported by our committed educators.
